1. I like doing cardio in the morning. It gets me up, moving and ready to take on my day. Also I don’t have to worry about going for a run after work because that usually never happens anyways.:) Although I prefer morning runs, I lift weights 2-3 days a week in the evenings with my boyfriend. Having a buddy to do weights with pushes me to get out of the house and get a quick strength workout in.

  2. Jackie Smith

I work out RIGHT after work. Literally, straight from work to the gym. Otherwise, stuff does come up, or, more likely, I sit on my couch & then don’t want to move. So I’ve found that going straight to it I do it, get it over with, and then have the rest of my night.

I’m looking forward to the summer when I can work out whenever I want, and try out some classes at the gym.

  3. That hydration system looks AMAZINGLY convenient. I need to invest in one!
Don’t feel bad if you had an off week, just take it day by day.

    p.s. EEEE i’m featured here!

  4. I am usually more of an am workout girl, but sometimes I’m inspired to head out in the afternoon. Definitely not the evening, unless it’s for a walk! I had two great afternoon runs yesterday & today – 4.9 on the treadmill yesterday & 3.02 outside today, which is an outside pdr for running!

  5. I much prefer running early when no one’s around and to get my blood moving for the day but have NOT been motivated to get up early lately. I’m thinking of moving it to right after work, since I’m already up and it’ll give me a nice jolt of energy later.

  6. Hi Lindsey! I am a morning workout girl fo sho! But this really only applies when I have a 9-5 job. Read: not living in Spain with a “make up your own schedule” schedule. I must say it’s nice to fit in a 12 noon yoga class. I am enjoying it while I can 🙂

  7. I prefer running around 9 pm because I have more energy then and I work off the stress of the day, making me relaxed before bed time. I did that all four years of my college career but now that my schedule has changed due to grad school I usually go in the morning when I have more time!

For a workout this week I am starting half marathon training–wooooh!
