Galaxy Nutritional Foods has created a new non-dairy vegan cream cheese that will be coming out nationwide this summer. I was lucky enough to receive the opportunity to test them out early and let me tell you I can’t wait for them to get in to stores around here!
The only food I really have ever missed since going vegan is cream cheese and over the years I have really grown to love Tofutti and my all time favorite tofu spread at Bagel Rising in Boston. I was thrilled to find another vegan cream cheese to try though because it’s always nice to mix things up and have a variety of tasty products available.
Well as soon as the package of Galaxy Nutritional Foods vegan cream cheese landed on my door step I knew that it would be our dinner, breakfast, lunch, oh and more dinner for the next few days because once I created the Bagel (no)Lox there was no way we could resist not gobbling up the remaining vegan cream cheese.
In addition to eating tons of Bagel (no)Lox’s the Hubz enjoyed the vegan cream cheese on pretzels and we made veggie quesadillas with the remaining bit that we had left. Within 5 days both containers of vegan cream cheese were gone. We both really liked the plain but the star was the Chive and Garlic flavor.
Unfortunately now that these are gone we will have to wait to find them in stores….I am hoping we don’t have to wait too long.
