  1. Oh em geeee! If I’m having lots o’ sugar it will be in cake or cookies or brownies or something baked!

PS It’s allllmost lunch time which means I can heat up the pre-cooked extras you had for dinner last night. I’m seriously salivating. And yes that’s gross but it’s true!

  2. Personally, I love this cookbook.

I recently became a vegetarian (back in November) and I thought this book was extremely helpful as a resource for some basic information and I think the recipes are most helpful as inspiration. A lot of the recipes require herbs, spices and ingredients I don’t necessarily have but I enjoy taking the recipes and making them work with what I have on hand. My favorite part of the book is the first 20+ pages where she lays down a basic foundation which I found extremely helpful.

I hope you enjoy the recipes! I can’t wait to hear about your favorites.

  3. I’m sure everything tastes fine but I’ve seen the book and looked through the recipes and that dependence on fake foods is why I didn’t want to participate. I’ll probably be sticking with AfR since there’s so much more I wanted to make out of that book.

  4. I have seen ”Skinny Bitch in the Kitch” by Kim Barnouin and Rory Freedman and didn’t like it at all. I didn’t try any recipes because it was only ”regular” recipes with fake meats and fake cheese…anybody can do that!
